  • Our Psychiatry Program

We treat adults (18 years and older) who are suffering from emotional and psychological problems that are impairing their lives. This includes but is not limited to depression, anxiety, dementia, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia. We also treat adults with acute psychiatric symptoms and behavioral problems associated with medical and medication instability, grief and loss issues, as well as confusion, disorientation, agitation, psychosis and memory loss.

    Our Treatment Approach

Our goal of treatment is to stabilize patients in the crisis phase of their illness and return them to their normal activities as soon as possible. Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan involving assessments from psychiatrists, medical internists, nursing staff, social workers, rehabilitation services staff, and other support staff.

Our programs provide structured activities that involve the patient in individual, group, and family therapy. Group activities focus on a variety of issues from self-care to leisure and social skills.

Social work staff are available to assist with discharge planning needs, coordinate ongoing care, and address concerns regarding legal issues and involuntary hospitalization.
